Lulla Love was founded by a group of experienced doulas across the San Francisco Bay Area who shared a simple belief: families deserve continuous, compassionate, and trustworthy support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

Many of us began our work independently—supporting families in hospitals, birth centers, and homes throughout the Bay Area. Over time, we saw the same need again and again: parents were searching not just for a doula, but for a reliable, well-coordinated care team—one that could support them across different stages, cultures, and increasingly complex benefit and reimbursement systems.

So we came together.

Lulla Love was created to bring birth doulas, postpartum doulas, and lactation consultants into one thoughtfully integrated team—providing consistent, high-quality care from labor through early parenthood.

In addition to hands-on care, we understand that access matters. Many families rely on employer-sponsored fertility, maternity, and postpartum benefits to make care possible. That’s why Lulla Love has developed a professional, well-documented reimbursement support process to help families successfully submit claims through Carrot and other insurance or benefit reimbursement programs.

Our team is experienced in preparing compliant service documentation, invoices, and care descriptions that align with reimbursement requirements. With clear guidance and structured workflows, we have helped many families achieve a high rate of successful reimbursement, reducing stress and financial uncertainty during an already demanding life transition.
